If you believe this turns out well, you just don’t know Nien.
Just one week from the new Borderlands DLC, here comes a sweet preview of the new DLC courtesy ign.com
As if I needed any validation that Borderlands is not just a great game, but THE new IP of the year look no further than the NPD reports showing that Borderlands sold 418,000 (add another 113k if you want to figure in PS3 sales) and you have the hottest new game around.

…and you thought I was bluffing…
Alan Wake is like the soccer of video games. We keep hearing that it is going to be the next big thing in the states, but then it never happens. Well, we now have a launch month for the long awaited game; May 2010.
If you don’t want to watch it all, make sure you catch the last minute.
Gametrailers.com has released a host of new videos to go along with the announcement and the game is shaping up to be something special.
Here is our obligatory post on the year’s biggest release from yesterday:
It’s fun.
You’re welcome.
The first round of Borderlands DLC is set for 11/24 featuring zombies, were-skags, and more loot! Speaking of loot, its going to set you back 800 MS points. That’s $10 scary dollars to those of us who don’t eat brains for a living.

Still no word on whether there will be new achievements or not…
Don’t forget to pop onto Halo Waypoint to catch the first Halo Legends anime short for free “The Babysitter”. The freeness is good for one day only.
Remember how awesome Puzzle Quest was? Not the lame Galactrix, but the awesome Challenge of the Warlords. The blend of puzzles and RPG made for the most addictive Live Arcade game ever.
The only way it would have gotten any better is if Pop Cap (Bejeweled) were to do the puzzle portion. Or if Square Enix (Final Fantasy) did the RPG portion…
Enter Gyromancer and exit social life.
Halo Waypoint: the hub for all your Halo needs, is available for download on your 360. What can you expect from Waypoint? Stats, avatar awards, news, strategies, videos and more. This includes the first in the animated Halo Legends series which will be free this Saturday only. It’s called “The Babysitter” and looks promising.
It’s different than bungie.net and worthwhile to check in on from time to time. Only question is “Why does it show up on my gamercard when there is no gamerscore to be earned?”
Right now on XBOX Live Marketplace. That is all.
